It’s been a disappointing week with several outdoor races and many parkruns cancelled through poor weather. Fortunately indoors were still on and the prior week saw another exciting Essex league cross country took place last week with yet more brilliant Beagles performances.
Performance
The Beagles cross country adventures continued this week with a trip across the border to Wales which saw our athletes impress once again. Well done too to everyone who has been running for their schools – this week saw the regional round of the English School Cup with Beagles winning 4 of the 6 races!
Another very competitive week of activity with an amazing national level victory for our U13 girls cross country team as they become national relay champions! Wow. Elsewhere we’ve been back in the Sportshall and taking great results on the road in both Billericay and New York!
It’s been amazing to see so many Beagles in action across schools, county and open events and being so successful too! We are particularly proud this week of taking all of the trophies in the junior girls races at the Essex XC relays.
The last couple of weeks have seen a very successful start to cross country season for our Beagles with some brilliant results in the first round of the Essex league.
The last fortnight has seen the end of the track season with some great performances for our athletes across a range of events.
Despite many of our athletes being away the last three weeks have been action packed and full of brilliant performances with our Beagles at their best!
We hope that you have been enjoying all the athletics on show over the last couple of weeks at the Olympics and that the occasion has inspired your athletes to dream of future success
This week we’ve had a Masters GB performance, a race night in a unique environment and the first round of the English Schools Cup.
