Codes of Conduct are important to the smooth running of any venture such as ours. They document the agreement and expectations of our club and its members. These are even more important for us we are affiliated to England Athletics.
England Athletics (EA) is part of UK Athletics (UKA). UKA is the National Governing Body for athletics in the United Kingdom. EA and UKA have agreed a set of common policies and procedures for safeguarding children and adults. Affiliated clubs are required to adopt and promote these policies and procedures.
Brentwood Beagles AC formally adopted the most recent EA/UKA codes of conduct at its inaugural committee meeting in March 2022. As such, the following apply to all members of BBAC. The club mandates that all members familiarise themselves with these. Members should specifically explore the codes of conduct that are most relevant to them.
If you have any questions regarding the policies on this page or indeed the procedures set out on the safeguarding page, please discuss them with your Coach or any of the club officials.
NOTE: Codes of Conduct on this page are intentionally duplicated alongside those on the Safeguarding Policies and Procedures under the Welfare Tab on this website. The key difference on the Safeguarding page contains the additional procedures relevant to the policies.
