It’s been an incredibly busy May with some massive events that have seen great performances by so many members of the club. The best thing has been the team spirit at these events.
April has been a Marathon month of activity with athletes taking on new challenges, new events and reaching new personal goals.
The start of April has seen us welcome both the Spring and many new Beagles to the club as well as lighter nights in which to train.
March traditionally sees a real crossover of competition – the end of cross country season and indoors and the first signs of outdoor events. It’s been an amazing month with Beagles successes at National level, International level and at the Essex and Eastern indoor championships.
The end of February certainly saw lots of mud but our Beagles handled the conditions brilliantly and continued to show great running. We also had more schools and track success!
The first half of February has seen a busy mix of cross country racing and indoor events both of which have seen more success, qualification, wins and personal bests for our athletes. Well done to all!
The Beagles have definitely kicked off 2025 with enthusiasm and some brilliant results. We have seen great displays on track, in cross country and some field events too! We’ve also seen a number of Beagles selected to represent Essex.
We hope you have been having a great December and a lovely rest over Christmas and that you are gearing up for another year of athletics!
It’s been a disappointing week with several outdoor races and many parkruns cancelled through poor weather. Fortunately indoors were still on and the prior week saw another exciting Essex league cross country took place last week with yet more brilliant Beagles performances.
