The first half of February has seen a busy mix of cross country racing and indoor events both of which have seen more success, qualification, wins and personal bests for our athletes. Well done to all!
The Beagles have definitely kicked off 2025 with enthusiasm and some brilliant results. We have seen great displays on track, in cross country and some field events too! We’ve also seen a number of Beagles selected to represent Essex.
We hope you have been having a great December and a lovely rest over Christmas and that you are gearing up for another year of athletics!
Some great Beagles Adventures in the Essex League, London Youth Games, Liverpool Cross Challenge and the Eastern Championships.
The Beagles cross country adventures continued this week with a trip across the border to Wales which saw our athletes impress once again. Well done too to everyone who has been running for their schools – this week saw the regional round of the English School Cup with Beagles winning 4 of the 6 races!
The last couple of weeks have been an excellent example of the huge variety of activities our Beagles get up to on the average weekend – from southern cross country to parkrun, from the minithon to sportshall!
The last fortnight has seen the end of the track season with some great performances for our athletes across a range of events.
We hope that you have been enjoying all the athletics on show over the last couple of weeks at the Olympics and that the occasion has inspired your athletes to dream of future success
