If you’re a Garmin watch user and a fan of parkrun (ok… I’m not looking at you lot in the sprint group although it won’t do you any harm!), then you should check out this free watch face in Garmin Connect.
You can enter your parkrun and emergency contact details and select this face on a Saturday morning ahead of your run. It will display your parkrun id and barcode to be scanned along with ICE emergency information if you have any issues or injuries during your pursuit of a new PB.
There is a widget version of this also, but if your Garmin doesn’t support widgets and does let you add watch faces, this is a useful one to have for your Saturday morning run out so you can avoid the last minute scramble for your elusive bar-code!
