What a week! It’s been amazing to see so many Beagles in action across schools, county and open events and being so successful too! We are particularly proud this week of taking all of the trophies in the junior girls races at the Essex XC relays – an immense effort by our brilliant girls. We also saw bronze for our U15 boys and our first team medal for senior athletes with the V40 men taking silver!

Finally, at Hutton Rec., a good turnout as well. Where 3rd-6th places were all occupied by Beagles. Nadia Price (09:19) led the team in with Nora Heidemans (09:28) next, followed by Alexandra Johnston (09:29 PB) who was just ahead of Liam Worth (09:35). In 9th was Camilla Nash (09:59 PB) with her 3rd course best in a row. Max Morris (11:08) was next Beagle, finishing 13th.

Well done to all our representatives this weekend. Can we please remind you that we can only pick up your results in the parkun club report if you register yourself as being part of the club in your parkrun profile. Unfortunately, the automatic club report only works on the Saturday parkruns so we are unable to spot performances at junior parkruns beyond the local ones we monitor (Harrow Lodge, Hutton Rec., Chelmsford, Lake Meadows and Northlands). Feel free to contact us if you need help setting up your profile or if you want to tell us about your runs further afield.

Coming up

We also have more Beagles in action in the first round of the English Schools Cup and in the Havering district event. This weekend sees the first round of the Essex Sportshall take place in Chelmsford and a Lee Valley Minithon too! Good luck to everyone competing… do send us your photos!
