BBAC’s Performance Academy is delighted to announce our Winter Pole Vault Camp in association with Pole Vault Coach Beth Harris.

February 18^th will be the Brentwood Beagles Inaugural Pole Vault Camp.  Tickets for this event are priced at £20.00 per athlete.

Beth is a multi-award winning coach who has previously been the Lead Pole Vault Coach for the British Athletics DiSE (AASE) Programme National Camps, and has been Team Coach for England Athletics Pole Vault Team on a number of occasions.  Beth has also presented on the England Athletics National Coach Development Programme for PV and was part of the video development team for both the England Athletics and Teach PE Pole Vault content.

Having coached junior athletes to more than 28 championship podium finishes along with International Youth and Junior representation; Beth fully understands the challenges of committing quality time to developing the skills necessary to perform at the top.

This camp is designed for young PV athletes seeking to enhance their current skills and abilities and to learn more about becoming a champion Pole Vaulter.

If you have specific areas for development that you would like to discuss, you are invited to send these via email after registering for a ticket.  You should also consider including links to any videos of your performances to aid with Beth’s planning of the session.

Please note:

• You MUST have or be able to obtain your own Pole(s) for this event.
• Numbers will be strictly limited.
• Brentwood Beagles Athletics Club are subsiding the cost of this activity to make it affordable and accessible to all interested athletes and so ticketing will be on a strictly first come first served basis.
• You are invited to bring your own coach with you if you would like to discuss training programmes and specific coaching activities with Beth on the day.
• The event will take place indoors at Chelmsford Athletics & Sports Centre

Personal coaches are encouraged to attend and observe the session. They will also have the opportunity to ask the lead coach questions after the session.

Note:  Also present during the Pole Vault Camp will be representatives from US Sports Scholarships Track & Field Team and they will be on hand to answer questions regarding training and studying in the USA.

Refund policy

All of our events have a refund policy.  This policy is applied fairly to all ticket holders whether members of BBAC or not!

Transfers

You may transfer to another athlete free of charge up to one week before the date of an event.  Simply contact us and we will remove you from an event and provide the person you are transferring to a code to get a free ticket.

Refunds

Up to two weeks before an event we will refund 80% of your ticket fee if you contact us and tell us you can’t attend for whatever reason.

Closer than two weeks and we cannot refund any of your ticket fee as we will have already spent your fee on planning and preparing the event including venue bookings as well as business costs. At this late stage we are unlikely to be able to change supply orders and get your space filled.

Deferral 

You are able to defer your attendance to a future event or training camp but in the interest of full transparency, you should discuss this with us before choosing this option as it may be some time before the next event of the same type.

Cancellations Within our control

If we take the decision to cancel an event for any reason within our control such as not getting enough numbers for it to be viable or an admin issue that’s within our control, we will refund you 100% of your ticket fee.

Cancellations Outside of our control

If we have to cancel or postpone or make substantial changes to an event or date of an event that is beyond our reasonable control, we will offer two options.

1. Postponement/deferral to a new date whether that be later in the year or the following years event where every entry will be carried over automatically at no cost.
2. If the new date is not suitable for any reason, we will refund 80% of the entry cost in line with our general refunds as above.
