BBAC’s Performance Academy is delighted to announce our Summer Hurdles Camp in association with Sprint Hurdles Coach Julie Pratt-Benterman.

This session is designed to develop athletes through the event and to help prepare sprint hurdlers who wish to apply for the Youth Talent Programme. This 3-hour camp is targeted at U15 & U17 sprint hurdlers. Julie will cover a variety of important aspects of the technical model of the event to help the athletes become faster and more effective hurdlers.

Work on improving your:

• Foot contact, speed & positioning
• Hurdle clearance time
• Hip mobility & flexibility
• Hurdle drills
• Race modelling

Personal coaches are encouraged to attend and observe the session. They will also have the opportunity to ask the lead coach questions after the session.

Note:  Also present during the Hurdles Camp will be representatives from US Sports Scholarships Track & Field Team and they will be on hand to answer questions regarding training and studying in the USA.

Refund policy

All of our events have a refund policy.  This policy is applied fairly to all ticket holders whether members of BBAC or not!

Transfers

You may transfer to another athlete free of charge up to one week before the date of an event.  Simply contact us and we will remove you from an event and provide the person you are transferring to a code to get a free ticket.

Refunds

Up to two weeks before an event we will refund 80% of your ticket fee if you contact us and tell us you can’t attend for whatever reason.

Closer than two weeks and we cannot refund any of your ticket fee as we will have already spent your fee on planning and preparing the event including venue bookings as well as business costs. At this late stage we are unlikely to be able to change supply orders and get your space filled.

Deferral 

You are able to defer your attendance to a future event or training camp but in the interest of full transparency, you should discuss this with us before choosing this option as it may be some time before the next event of the same type.

Cancellations Within our control

If we take the decision to cancel an event for any reason within our control such as not getting enough numbers for it to be viable or an admin issue that’s within our control, we will refund you 100% of your ticket fee.

Cancellations Outside of our control

If we have to cancel or postpone or make substantial changes to an event or date of an event that is beyond our reasonable control, we will offer two options.

1. Postponement/deferral to a new date whether that be later in the year or the following years event where every entry will be carried over automatically at no cost.
2. If the new date is not suitable for any reason, we will refund 80% of the entry cost in line with our general refunds as above.
