A month dominated by cross country racing, we’ve seen Beagles travel the country and perform brilliantly everywhere with National titles, and local successes meaning as much to our athletes as each other. Well done all!

English National Cross Country Relays

Another very successful National competition, this time via a trip to Mansfield and the English national XC relays for our U13 girls who retained their national title.

With the famous Berry Hill Park course having been enhanced with some new twists, turns and log jumps, it made for an extra fun race over 2km.

And we saw two brilliant Beagles teams competing – our amazing B team showed incredible consistency with their leg times which saw them finish 22nd out of the 80 teams entered. A strong first leg by Isabella Davies – 8:12 was matched by an excellent second leg from Jess Davidson – 8:11 and a superb final leg by Emily Brewington – 8:16. Such great potential on display and a brilliant experience for the girls.

And our excellent A team once again produced a really dominant display to win by a staggering 48 seconds over the next closest team. Sophia Davies put the team into contention with her opening leg run of 7:27. Lianne Esterhuysen capitalised on this and surged the team forward building the gap – 7:31, whilst Madison Kindler secured the win with the fastest leg of the day – 7:14.

Feel free to contact us if you need help setting up your profile or if you want to tell us about your runs further afield.
